In 1919, a modest coffee stall opened on Killiney Road. It had no grand plan — just good kopi, warm toast and a place for neighbours to gather. A hundred years on, that name is part of the fabric of Singapore.

Killiney grew into what many call Singapore's oldest Hainanese kopitiam — a keeper of recipes that predate the country itself. The kaya still gets stirred until it's fragrant. The kopi is still pulled the traditional way. And the toast is still charcoal-kissed and cut just so.
At Killiney @ Shaw Plaza, we bring that heritage to Balestier. Ours is a neighbourhood kopitiam: a spot for breakfast before work, kopi in the afternoon, and a proper plate of curry rice or laksa whenever the craving hits. Old friends, new faces — everyone's welcome at the marble table.
A coffee stall opens on Killiney Road, Singapore.
Killiney becomes a household name — recognised as one of the island's oldest kopitiams and a Singapore Heritage Brand.
Our Shaw Plaza outlet serves the Balestier neighbourhood — the same kopi, kaya and local favourites, made the traditional way.
Some things shouldn't change. Pull up a stool, order a kopi, and taste a little bit of old Singapore.
